Reservation Terms and Conditions

Booking Confirmation

A booking is regarded as provisional until the restaurant receives a non-refundable deposit for bookings. We will hold any reservations for 7 days, or 2 days before the date of booking (whichever is sooner) provisionally, thereafter, if a deposit has not been paid, the reservation will be released.

If dining with us for Tapas, you will be provided with a pre order form to collect your order. We require these completed 2 days prior to your visit date. Failure to submit a pre-order may result in dishes you want being unavailable during your visit.

If you have any dietary requirements, please notify us in advance and then speak to the duty manager who will be happy to help.

Deposits

We require a non-refundable deposit of £10 per person up to a maximum of £150.

This deposit is used against your food and drink bill on the day of your visit to us.

Payments for deposits can be made in person with either cash or card by visiting Spyglass OR by completing an online payment.

Number of Guests

Your reservation will be created with a number of guests as you specify. Our staff will ensure that your party has appropriate seating based off this.

If the number of guests needs to be adjusted, please get in contact with us via phone at least 24 hours before your reservation start time. We cannot guarantee that additional seats will be available for those who are not booked with us.

Time

We ask that you ensure your party arrives close to the allotted time as possible. If you are running late, please advise us as soon as possible so we can make possible alternative arrangements if required. If a booked table goes unseated for thirty minutes and we have had no contact with the party, Spyglass reserve the right to utilise this table for other waiting guests.

Challenge 25

Spyglass is a challenge 25 venue. Failure to present ID if requested whilst ordering an age restricted product will result in refusal of service with no refund on deposit provided.

Events Beyond our Reasonable Control

Sometimes things beyond our control can happen and we may need to postpone or cancel your reservation. Example events beyond our control:

  • Acts of God (Flooding, earthquakes or other natural disaster)
  • A terror related incident
  • An Epidemic, or Pandemic
  • A new law or action taken by the UK Government or Local Authority
  • Collapse or damage to our building, neighbouring building, or building around the venue
  • Issues with suppliers that may lead to product shortages
  • Utility service failure, such as a power outage

If these events happen, we will do our best to contact you as soon as reasonably possible. In these events we can offer you a full refund or postpone your reservation.
